가. 2026학년도 1학기 수강포기신청 일정
    1) 학생 신청 기간: 2026. 03. 24.(화) 10:00 ~ 2026. 03. 26.(목) 09:00 (개강 4주차)
    2) 3차 폐강 일자: 2026. 03. 26.(목) 17:00 수강포기로 인한 수강인원이 0명인 교과목에 한하여 3차 폐강 처리

나. 수강포기신청 한도: 1학기 최대 9학점까지 허용

다. 수강포기신청 절차
    1) 신청메뉴: 포털 학적/졸업 성적사항 수강신청 과목포기 포기신청 클릭
    2) 별도 승인 절차는 없으며, 수강생 본인이 신청 및 확인
    3) 수강포기신청 기간 중 수강포기신청한 과목을 '철회'할 수 있음
    4) 수강포기신청 기간 이후에는 최종 수강포기 신청내역에 따라 확정 처리됨

라. 수강포기신청 유의사항
    1) 수강신청학점 이월 여부
      - 수강포기 학점은 다음 학기의 수강가능 학점으로 이월되지 않음
    2) 등록금 산정 미반영
      - 초과학기 이수자 포함, 수강포기로 인한 수강이수학점 변동은 등록금액 감면 등 등록금 산정에 반영되지 않음 
    3) 수강포기제한 과목
      가) 1학년 필수이수 과목으로서 일괄 수강배정과목
      나) 실험·실습 및 유연학기 설정과목
      다) 그 외 팀프로젝트 과목 등 교과 목적 및 운영상 수강취소 제한 필요성 있는 과목
    4) 이수학점 요건 부족 시 불이익
      - 수강포기로 인해 이수학점 요건이 부족할 경우, ①졸업요건, ②성적관련 포상(학기 (최)우등생 선정 등)과 ③다음학기 초과 수강신청 대상에서 제외될 수 있기에 관련 기준들에 대해 미리 확인 필요
    5) 장학금 요건 유의
      - 수강포기로 인해 국가장학금 등 장학금 선발 대상 선정 시 이수학점 요건 미충족으로 선발에서 제외되는 등 불이익이 발생할 수 있으니 개별 장학금 요건에 대해 미리 확인 필요
    6) 유연 수강신청 학점제 적용
      - 유연 수강신청 학점제 시행에 따라 학년도 내에서 최대 3학점까지 선사용 및 이월이 가능하나, 학기 초 수강정정 기간까지의 최초 수강신청 학점을 기준으로 적용하므로 수강포기로 학점이 축소된 사항은 반영하지 않음

A. Schedule for Course Withdrawal for the Spring Semester of the 2026 Academic Year
    1. Student Application Period: March 24, 2026 (Tue) 10:00 AM – March 26, 2026 (Thu) 9:00 AM(Week 4 of the semester)

    2. Third Round of Course Cancellation: March 26, 2026 (Thu) 5:00 PM
Courses with zero enrolled students as a result of course withdrawal will be subject to the third round of course cancellation.

B. Limit on Course Withdrawal
    · Students may withdraw from up to 9 credits during the semester.

C. Course Withdrawal Procedure
    1. Application Menu: Portal → Academic Records/Graduation → Grades → Course Registration → Course Withdrawal → Click “Apply for Withdrawal”
    2. There is no separate approval process; students must submit and confirm the withdrawal request themselves.
    3. During the course withdrawal period, students may cancel (“withdraw”) their withdrawal request for a course.
    4. After the course withdrawal period ends, the final course withdrawal requests will be confirmed and processed accordingly.

D. Important Notes Regarding Course Withdrawal
    1. No Carryover of Withdrawn Credits
      ·  Credits withdrawn will not be carried over to the maximum number of credits allowed for registration in the following semester.
    2. No Effect on Tuition Calculation
      · Changes in completed/enrolled credits due to course withdrawal, including for students in extended semesters, will not be reflected in tuition calculation, such as tuition reduction.
    3. Courses Restricted from Withdrawal
      a) First-year required courses that are assigned in a lump-sum registration process
      b) Experiment/lab courses and courses designated for flexible semesters
      c) Other courses, such as team project courses, where withdrawal restrictions are necessary due to the nature or operation of the course
    4. Disadvantages Due to Insufficient Earned Credits
      · If course withdrawal results in failure to meet the required number of earned credits, students may face disadvantages such as exclusion from:
① graduation requirement eligibility, ② academic awards related to grades (e.g., semester honors/high honors), and ③ eligibility for excess course registration in the following semester.
Students are advised to review the relevant requirements in advance.

5. Scholarship Eligibility
    · Course withdrawal may result in failure to meet the minimum earned credit requirement for scholarships, including the National Scholarship, and may therefore lead to disadvantages such as disqualification from scholarship selection.
Students are advised to check the requirements for each scholarship in advance.

6. Application of the Flexible Course Registration Credit System
    · Under the flexible course registration credit system, up to 3 credits may be used in advance or carried over within the academic year. However, this is applied based on the number of credits registered at the initial course registration stage, up to the course add/drop period at the beginning of the semester. Therefore, reductions in credits due to course withdrawal are not reflected.
